Congestion LogoIf you are a driver of an LPG Vehicle then you may qualify for an exemption from London's Congestion Charge.

We have produced some guidelines that you may find useful:

  1. Firstly, you need to check if your vehicle qualifies on the Transport Energy Power Shift Register. To do this, check out the Transport Energy Power Shift Register.

  2. If you qualify, you can register for exemption from the Congestion Charge. This costs £10, and the form can be downloaded at Transport for London.

  3. You will need a photocopy of your Conformity Certificate - if you don't have one, they can be obtained from the manufacturer of the vehicle, or the approved garage/installer who performed your conversion.

  4. You will also need a photocopy of your V5C. This is the document sent to you by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency.

  5. Post the completed form, together with both photocopies to the address listed on the Congestion Charge exemption form.
